<description>Brett, bonjour... Yes, it&#039;s a good post and, as part of a series of your posts, very valuable.

As long as one doesn&#039;t overlook the old saying &quot; There are lies, dammed lies and statistics&quot; ;)

<description>Great post, Brett - and for additional stats regarding the traffic to and around their blogs specifically, MyBlogLog provides great stats to supplement the AWStats data.

The info in this series is simply too valuable to eventually be burried in a blog archive, Brett - you&#039;ll be doing your online family a dis-service if you don&#039;t eventually compile this information into an e-book that stays for sale online. Very few e-books I&#039;ve read in my nearly-13 years online have as much valuable information in them as this series you&#039;re authoring here - keep up the good work!

<description>Yes knowing what you are doing that is working makes it much easier to duplicate and you are right outs you ahead of 90%+ of your competition.

<description>I agree with Joel, this is a great post. I have been learning so much from this Niche Marketing Business series.

This one on tracking is one that really came at a good time. I really need to get into tracking.

Looking forward to the next one. Thanks

		<description>Great post Brett!

One thing I would like to add when looking at your traffic stats is to check to see if many people are coming to your site and getting 404 or other page not found errors. You can see this in the stats as well, just like if they visited your index page.

This will happen if you have moved or deleted pages in the past. Keep an eye on it and maybe create a custom error page that promotes something or tells the visitor to visit your main page.
